So basically the garland police can do anything they want and get away with it!
So we got into an argument and that resulted in me going to jail!
Most friendly police officers that I have ever met. All the way from the chief of police down to the average patrol officer. All are very professional.
The ones that I am actually guilty for,i made arrangements to resolve the issue!
It took almost 3 years to recover from my stroke. There are a few lifelong physical issues that I'll never recover from.
The ticket for no insurance was torn up and was replaced by 2 more "false tickets "!
They treated me less than a human in jail.
For instance,during a traffic stop. I was given tickets for suspended driver's license and despite that I had valid proof of insurance, I was given a ticket as if I didn't have insurance anyway!
We had someone across the street from us outside playing drums til 2am last night my wife called a few times for a noise conplaints it was so loud they woke up our kids we couldn't sleep. No one ever came out.
I've tried getting the false tickets issue investigated. But they covered that incident up.
Thank God that they ran my driver's and left me alone after they had their fun insulting me!
What happened to us law abiding citizens?
The city of garland police is a Hazzard to all aspects of my life. They have ruined my self esteem and respect for them.
I got a Speeding ticket. On the 9th Nov. office said I was going 52 in a 40 mile . $185 I took care of it $209. so to day I drove the same street and see that it was 45 mile not a 40 and it wasn't even my fault the person next to me was coming into my lane because they were on their cell phone. and I speed up to get away from that car. Got pull over the cop was Rude. By the way this is my first Ticket. This Cop need to learn how to Talk to People that's not his color .
Call for noise complaint at 1:20 am. I had a long day and have to wake up at 5am to go to work. One hour past no police show up but one just drive by to do nothing. Had to take care of it by myself. If u can't or hate being a police then why become one. If I was in wylie I wouldn't have this problem. GPD can't come near to WPD. This city can't do anything right....guess it time to move some where better.
I've tried to call and report the situation of the police's rude conduct at the Hollywood theater. The phone number on the garland police official website ,for reporting and investigation of police conduct. It's a dead end phone number that goes directly to voice mail and they will never call you back.
Insurance companies don't sell car insurance to non-licensed drivers! "
Whenever something bad happens to one of their own police officers. They want our sympathy and respect!
I have trouble walking now.
I went to the Hollywood movie theater and as i was walking back to my car,i was stopped short by 2 garland police before I reached my car and asked if I was drunk! I was also asked if the car was actually mine!
If you have any health related issues,then you're in trouble! Garland jail doesn't provide any medical attention for your health issues.
But i recovered well enough to not be so depending on a cane.
I had a stroke a few months later .
The police officer's reply ,"your driver's license is suspended, therfore you are not insured!
I have to admit that I got a few traffic tickets.
I was given packaged food that was expired by 2 months!
